Deviant

Deviant is to turn aside from a course, or to disagree from a line of reasoning or behavior. In any organization, there are customs and traditions to be followed, which are more than a matter of personality.
One cause of deviant organizational behavior is the bureaucratic structure of the organization. Bureaucracy is a large organization with certain common features. Normally, bureaucracy refers to a government institution.
The bureaucratic structure, although highly efficient, experiences problems adapting to change for many reasons. An organization is a distinctive character or individuality. Bureaucracies have both strengths and weaknesses. They create opportunities, as well as problems for management.
Graft is the dishonest use of one’s office to get money or peuisites or anything so required, while corruption is an act or effect of corrupting, dishonesty and/or perversion.
Graft and corruption are caused not only by needs, but also by greed of public servants. A bureaucratic structure can have an impact on the behavior of individuals in the organization.
In an organization, managers have the right and the duty to control the behavior of their subordinates.
There are three Constitutional Commissions in the country to prevent abuses in the government: Civil Service Commission, Commission on Elections, and Commission on Audit.
The opportunities for graft and corruption depend significantly on the size of the agency budget.
