I was sitting in a public vehicle I was with my sister and we were going to school. Between me and my sister is a man near the public vehicle step. Traffic was very heavy that afternoon. It was very hot. At one stop light, one of the passengers got off and a man waiting near the public vehicles stop got in and sat beside the lady opposite me. The sleepy-looking man beside her to her right drew his purse. His coins fell on the floor, but I was looking at the man besides the lady.
I saw him pull out and draw a thin blade from his side pocket and slit open the lady’s bag. Quickly, he took out her wallet. I wanted to warn her and tell her what I saw but I felt a sharp object poking at my side. Before the sleepy-looking man could collect all his coins that were scattered on the floor, the other men beside the lady got off the public vehicle. All the other men in the public vehicle got off, too.
It was only then that the lady learned and noticed that her bag had been picked. She was very disappointed, but i don’t know what to do. To tell her or what.
